Launch Date: Saturday, February 5 1

All systems are GO.

This Saturday is the 1st day of the Give Every Day project.

Beginning Saturday, February 5th, we'll be blogging each day with how we gave that day (even days on the road!). Documenting the journey will force us to be creative and to not skimp on our mission.

“What am I to do? I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good work, therefore, any kindness, or any service I can render to any soul of man…let me do it now. Let me not neglect or defer it, for I shall not pass this way again.” - Quaker Saying

  1. WOOHOO!! So exciting! Know that you are PRAYED for! Can't wait to see how God uses you, stretches you, and grows you in this next year! Thanks for being so willing and so brave!

  2. How exciting!!! I'm anxious to see how you best make use of those mundane days and I hope to get great ideas on giving back even on those days of life. I'm excited to follow along and I have to say....that cake is too cool! How creative!

  3. Have fun and good luck! We'll be avidly following here at the VolunteerMatch office in San Francisco. Please let us know when you'll be coming through town, and if we can help at all while you're on the road.

    1. Thank you, Shari! We have been using VolunteerMatch to locate non-profits in upcoming cities. Thanks so much for the good work that you are doing.

P.S. I also just "liked" VolunteerMatch on Facebook.

  4. So sad that we are unable to see you guys before you go....but you will be in our prayers and we are so excited to follow your exciting journey!!

    1. I'm sad about that too! I miss you and your awesome family...and am so proud to know you. I am confident that the four of you are totally changing the world right where you are.

  5. So excited for you and so excited myself to be following along on your travels. I have always loved that Quaker saying, and it seems so apt for your adventure.

    Safe travels!

  6. You know I'll be following every word! Congrats on getting everything ready to go (a HUGE task, I'm sure). You guys are going to do great! I can't wait to read all about it!

  7. I'll be excited to follow your journey. Thank you for sharing your caring spirits with the world! Best wishes as you start out on this new adventure!

  8. Your family will be in our prayers. I wish we were still in Tucson to say goodbye, but if you make it to the DC area give us a call.

Our family spent 2011 traveling the USA in an RV, striving to intentionally "give every day" for the glory of God. We interviewed CEOs of nonprofits and served alongside over 40 organizations and churches.
