Our family recently discovered WeGiveBooks.com.
We Give Books is an amazing resource for families of young children. It's like an entire children's section of a library on my computer. For free! Today, Stephanie and I traded off reading handfuls of books to the girls from this website.
In addition to being a totally free online library, the We Give Books initiative gives a children's book to a charity every time a campaign book is read.
Here is the rundown of how it works:
We Give Books is a free website that enables anyone with access to the Internet to put books in the hands of children who don't have them, simply by reading online. Simply choose the charity you want to read for and then select the books you want to read. For each book you read online, we donate a book to a leading literacy group on your behalf. The more you read, the more we give.
Do you and your kids read on We Give Books?

What an awesome site! That sounds like a great idea and a great deal and a great way to try new books!
The pages for each book look surprisingly good. Our girls don't mind at all reading the stories off of the computer.
Thanks for letting us know about this site! I just signed up and tried it out with my 4 yr old! We're hooked!
You bet. We are super excited about the find too!
This is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing this!
Yes, my 7yr old and I read books off this website. "Goodnight Goon" was especially entertaining! I love that sharing time reading = helping to spread literacy.
What a grea find! I'm going to share this with all my mom friends!
I've never heard of this. We will have to check it out!
