Campground Sponsor: La Hacienda RV Resort in Austin, TX

This past two weeks (while we were in the Austin area), we parked our fifth wheel at the La Hacienda RV Resort. Nestled just around the corner from Lake Travis, La Hacienda is positioned in both a beautiful and convenient location (30mins from downtown Austin). The proximity to the water makes La Hacienda ideal for both full-timers and weekend warriors.

Even if you don't have an RV, consider La Hacienda for a destination getaway. They have numerous fully furnished cottages around the park that include bed linens, fully equipped kitchens with utensils, cable TV, air conditioning and heat, charcoal BBQ grills, and wireless internet. If you have a boat and don't have an RV, the cottages are perfect. The resort is also a great choice for a company retreat. The park has a stunning event pavilion and a separate cabin for meetings.

Our girls' favorite parts were the playscape area and the free popcorn (popped fresh daily) in the office. The resort also offers on-site propane, a small workout center, and two outdoor swimming pools.
