This past week we stayed at the KOA in Kissimmee, FL. Just off the freeway, the campground is strategically located only a short drive from most of the "big-name" Orlando attractions (Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Etc.).
The first thing we did after setting up our fifth wheel was to head into the office for delicious root beer floats (only $1 each). Wednesday just happened to be "root beer float day"!
We have stayed at quite a few campgrounds now, but this KOA wins the award for the "longest" campsites. Our RV pad was well over 100' long. We even had two optional locations for hookups, a personal fire pit, and a picnic table. All of the park's pads were level and paved.
The resort amenities were also plentiful (showers, laundry, pool/spa area, play ground, clubhouse, and dog park), well-maintained, and super clean. Another bonus: grocery stores and fuel stations were just seconds away.
I enjoyed soaking in the spa a few evenings after dark when the girls were sleeping.
If you are planning a trip to the area, KOA Kissimmee is sure to offer everything you need and more.

We've stayed at several KOA campgrounds - it's always been a pleasurable place to stay! Add to that the affordability of the KOA campgrounds and you've got a combination that can't be beat! One of the KOA's we like to stay at has cabins - since we don't have an RV it's nice to be able to stay in a cabin rather than a tent!
