Amy's Story:

Today my 4 year old and I joined others at our church for a monthly “Sandwich Ministry”. We package up sandwiches & a Bible verse for passing out at a homeless shelter. Tonight I’m giving my time. Our church is updating their Directory and I’m working the picture check-in booth.

A new prize winner is selected each week! To enter, you can leave a comment on igive any (or every) day of the week.

Our next prize is another $75 gift card to

  2. Yay for Amy! Sorry Tim,- you were TOTALLY by those giggly sisters. Awesome- I was just waiting for one of them to go rolling down the hill ;)

    1. Um- left out "upstaged" after my TOTALLY. Where is the delete button when you need one? To bed I go...

  3. What a treat to have won such an awesome prize! I really love how your family is giving the extra motivation to all of us to include giving in our regular routine. I'm really enjoying learning about so many great organizations and seeing how you include your children.

The sandwich ministry was such a fun way to involve my daughter. She was excited when we got home to make sandwiches our lunch too.

Our family spent 2011 traveling the USA in an RV, striving to intentionally "give every day" for the glory of God. We interviewed CEOs of nonprofits and served alongside over 40 organizations and churches.
