We set up camp this afternoon in Advance, NC. We’re planning to be here two weeks (unless the slow Internet drives us crazy first).
Before we left Asheville, we wanted to say “thank you” to the campground owners at the KOA we stayed at this past week. Stephanie and our oldest daughter made lemon bars. They are some of the best ones I have ever eaten!
This morning, we put together a plate of bars to give away. While I was getting the RV ready to hit the road, Stephanie and the girls made a special delivery.

I’m curious if you used the receipe as written or used the suggested alterations? I love lemon bars but have only ever had them at church pot luck meals.
We reduced the sugar and lowered the temp for baking the crust.
I told you that place was crazy! But I hope to give it another chance – maybe we’ll see you there. We may be through there this weekend. And lemon bars are our favorite ;)
